Probably the best known of Hannah Montana songs. The reason for these styles to be combine is to represent both sides of Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus, with a mix of pop for the Hannah Montana personality and country music for Miley Cyrus’s country roots.

The lyrics to the song provide instructions on a dance routine for the track. The dance routines in the song are inspired by line dancing. Hoedown Throwdown was written for Hannah Montana: The Movie. Peter Chelsom who directed the movie thought it would do well to have song including its own dance routine.
Boom Boom clap, boom di-clap di-clap
The song opens with the lyrics “Boom boom clap, boom di-clap di-clap”. Disney have made an effort to teach fans the dance moves to How Down Throwdown. It began by giving a “How to Do the Howdown Throwdown” leasson on the Disney Channel. Miley Cyrus along with the song’s choreographer performed each of the moves and finished by putting the whole routine together. The moves can also be seen learned by watching the video on Youtube.
The song gained success as a top 20 hit here as well as in Australia, Canada, Norway, and the US. It was most popular in Ireland where it entered the top 10.

Butterfly Fly Away is a song from Hannah Montana: The Movie. The subject of the song is Miley Cyrus and her dad Billy Ray Cyrus’s relationship. The song deals with the issue of the difficulty of bring up a child alone with the other parent being absent. Miley Cyrus uses a Butterfly as a metaphor for herself.
The song is performed in duet with her Billy Ray Cyrus. A live recording from London is also available.
